About the event
The Come Home to Aïa Thanksgiving Retreat is a 5-day experience designed to bring guests back in balance with their body, breath and nature, with a healing homecoming for the heart, soul and spirit. Poised perfectly before the busy holiday season, this is a gift for you to restore and refresh yourself with a thoughtful and meaningful alternative to the obligations of traditions that may no longer inspire you, or that shrink your spirit because of relationship issues or family dynamics.
Through guided Hatha Yoga practices, meditations, sound healing, and native Mexican wellness traditions like a Mayan clay ceremony and Temazcalli, a healing steam lodge, participants will experience deep relaxation and connection, leaving them refreshed, restored and renewed. This unique retreat experience is designed to inspire and embody gratitude and Thanksgiving as a healing spiritual practice.
This retreat is for you if:
• You are busy, overscheduled and ready for some deep relaxation
• You wish to avoid family drama or feeling alone during the holidays
• You’re mentally, emotionally and energetically depleted
• You value quality time and new experiences over obligations and responsibilities
• You want a more meaningful experience of Thanksgiving or a personal reset before joining family celebrations.
This retreat will be led by Enicia Fisher, Founder of Sanadora Yoga International, along with traditional offerings led by local ceremonialists/healers/musicians. This retreat authentically blends healing practices with the traditions of the Mexican community and the land.
After the Aïa Thanksgiving Retreat guests will head home feeling:
• Inner balance and peace
• Deeper connection to Nature and Spirit
• An open mind and open heart
• A true sense of gratitude for this magical life experience
• Renewed and ready to integrate gratitude as a spiritual practice in daily life!

Here, they refer to AïA as their connection to nature, to our true, inner selves, the Source and circle of life. Her tropical sanctuary rests on a wild beach, cocooned between an undisturbed jungle and the glistening Caribbean Sea. A Mexican paradise beach resort focused on sustainability and the sanctity of life... Each guest is an honored and active participant in their journey of renewal. Whether here to let go, to discover yourself, or to relish a wealth of holistic amenities, exquisite cuisine, and heartfelt hospitality, AïA is here. Let her guide you.
